5 Youtube Channels and Websites to improve your Photoshop skills.

Have a look

Hello everyone,

Few days before I asked you (people who subscribed to the newsletter) to vote and choose the Topic of this article. I know things are moving quite slowly for LP.net but I’m doing my best. If I could have more than 24 hours available in a day it would help me a lot if you see what I mean.

You had to choose between 3 different topics:

  • 5 Youtube Channels and Websites to improve your Photoshop skills.
  • How I built a 120k followers Instagram page in less than 2 years.
  • How to choose your first Graphic Tablet.

Most of people voted for the first option “5 Youtube Channels and Websites to improve your Photoshop skills.” and I think it’s great. It shows me that you want to learn and to improve with Adobe Photoshop.

December 2019 update: We created an article that lists many Tutorials to improve your skills on Photoshop step by step. Have a look here.

Let’s go ahead and share these Youtubes Channels and Websites that will help you to learn and improve on Adobe Photoshop.

I will simply copy paste the channels descriptions that is really clear: “PiXimperfect is a free resource to learn Photoshop and Lightroom. We believe in learning the concepts, more than learning the steps so that you can master translating “your” imagination visually to the world, making you a better decision maker rather than making decisions for you. Since every situation is different and the definition of “beauty” is subjective, it is essential that you master the approach and the steps will automatically follow. We believe in learning the things which interest you and whatever is required to achieve the result you dream of. Don’t worry about the quality so much, time will improve it. Don’t spend so much time getting things pixel perfect, so that you end up not finishing it. Just Keep Creating and your consistency will take care of the rest.”

You have so many videos available on this channel I’m sure you will find what you’re looking for.

It is a smaller channel but you can find complete tutorials to create really cool looking digital art. Great if you don’t have much inspiration.

4) PHLEARN  – Website and YouTube

Thanks to Aaron Nace and all the Phlearn Team I have learned so much. They youtube tutorials are great. Now they also offer a paid membership with premium tutorials on it. Never tried it, so I can’t share anything about it.

Who could better teach Photoshop than Adobe itself? They have great tutorials and I hope they will keep creating new ones.

BONUS

I wanted to share other cool stuff with you that I think you’d like. They are inspiring and motivating, have a look. Through the Lens video playlist by Adorama – It’s a serie with mini episodes that quickly introduce you to a photographer or a digital artist. All the episodes are really well-made. You feel a lot inspired after watching it. You should definitely check it.
Deviantart – I’m sure you already know this one. It’s a platform 100% dedicated for artist to showcase and share their work. You can also find some great stock pictures for your edits.
I hope you liked this little article and that you also discover something new, hopefully. If you have anything you think could benefit everyone, please feel free to share it in the comment section.
